WHO ARE THESE MITES?
Humans have always lived with mites, they are present in all homes, even the cleanest ( bedding, curtains, stuffed animals, sofas, rugs or carpets)
In our beds, mites are particularly attracted to the dust and the confined and warm humidity of our bed, added to human dander (debris of skin, hair and nails) that we shed during our sleep. There are no more mites in wool than in feathers (quite the contrary because feathers, as they age, produce more dust) or in synthetics.
WHAT DUVET TO CHOOSE IN CASE OF ALLERGY?
If you are allergic to dust mites, we can only recommend our washable & anti-dust mite WOOL DUVETS . The washable wool contained in these duvets, in all Lanado PILLOWS and in the washable & anti-dust mite BABY WOOL DUVET is treated anti-dust mite & anti-bacterial with ESSENTIAL by Proneem - 100% of the active ingredients in this treatment are of NATURAL origin.
Just one rule to remember : all LANADO products filled with machine-washable wool (with wool program) are treated ANTI-MITE. The “non-washable” products are not treated to allow a more natural choice for those who want it.

Fortunately, most of us are not allergic to dust mites and live in harmony with them… For these people, wool duvets certified by Organic Textile will be perfect. They are not treated against dust mites, their maintenance simply requires regular airing. In the event of an accident, dry cleaning is recommended.
The COMFORT MATTRESS TOPPERS (not machine washable on a wool cycle) are also not treated against dust mites.
