Renewable, Biodegradable, Sustainable

La laine : un trésor naturel aux multiples vertus

NATURAL and RENEWABLE

Wool is a natural fiber. It has evolved to produce a fabric that has become one of the most effective forms of natural protection known to man for all seasons. Each year a sheep produces a new fleece, making wool a renewable fiber. Sheep farmers are actively working to improve yields by being mindful of natural resources, striving to make this wool industry sustainable for future generations.

BIODEGRADABLE

When a natural wool fiber is discarded, it decomposes in just a few years and can be used as a soil fertilizer. Most synthetic fibers, on the other hand, decompose very slowly, disintegrating into multiple particles that pollute our oceans.

DURABLE and ELASTIC

A wool fibre can be bent up to 20,000 times without breaking and still retain its ability to return to its original shape. This means that wool bedding products retain their original shape and look better for a very long time. The natural elasticity of the wool fibre means that, for example, clothing stretches with the wearer but returns to its natural shape.
