What we commit to doing, for real

At Lanado, we love wool. But above all, we love being honest. Here is what we actually do to earn your trust.

Belgian wool collected as close to the farmers as possible

Every year, we fetch the wool ourselves, straight from the farms at shearing time. We organise collections at 6 locations in Wallonia to gather as much local wool as possible and stop it from going to waste. That is our first commitment: making the most of what exists here before looking elsewhere.

Short, clean, traceable

Local and transparent production

No unnecessary middlemen. The wool we collect is sorted, washed in Verviers and processed in Walloon workshops. Every step happens in Belgium. We can tell you exactly where your duvet comes from, and we are proud of it.

Less impact, more meaning

A renewable material, a responsible approach

Wool is a naturally renewable resource. We do everything we can to make the most of it without waste. Unlike synthetic fibres, it does not pollute during production, does not release microplastics when washed, and biodegrades at the end of its life.

Our ambition: to expand our collection network, make the most of even more wool in Belgium, and show that a local, ethical model can work on a large scale. Every purchase from Lanado contributes directly to this project.
