Small balls of wool, healthy and natural
Made in Verviers from our carefully washed and treated wool, these small wool balls are perfect for stuffing pillows and small creations such as comforters or soft toys. Their format allows for uniform and precise stuffing, even for small volumes, offering a healthy and natural alternative to traditional synthetic materials.
Anti-felting treatment for easy maintenance
Thanks to a specific anti-felting treatment, our wool balls are machine washable up to 30 °C with a suitable program and a special wool detergent. Please note, however, that the use of an electric dryer is not recommended to preserve the quality of the wool.
Natural protection and certifications
Our wool balls are treated with ESSENTIAL by Proneem , an anti-mite and antibacterial technology, formulated from active ingredients of 100% natural origin. In addition, this wool is certified OEKO-TEX Standard 100, Class 2, Appendix 6 , thus guaranteeing the quality and safety of the products.
Duvets & mattress toppers
- 140×200 cm: 1 person, single bed (90 or 140 cm)
- 200×200 cm: 2 people, double bed (140–160 cm)
- 240×220 cm: 2 people, king-size bed (180–200 cm)
Mattress toppers
Choose the same size as your mattress. E.g.: 160×200 mattress → 160×200 topper.
Pillows
- 60×60 cm: standard size, for all types of sleepers
- 40×60 cm: bolster / child size
If you're torn between two duvet sizes, choose the larger one: the wool stays nicely in place.
Are our products machine washable?
Yes. All Lanado duvets, pillows and mattress toppers can be washed at 30 °C on a wool or delicate cycle, in a machine of at least 8 kg. Tumble dry at 60 °C max or dry flat in the shade.
Are they suitable for people allergic to dust mites?
Yes. The hygroscopic structure of wool deprives dust mites of their habitat, without any added chemical treatment.
Where does the wool come from?
From sheep raised in Wallonia (Belgium), collected, washed and processed less than 100 km from the flock. A short, fully traceable supply chain.
How long do they last?
Between 10 and 15 years with regular care. A wool fibre can bend 20 000 times without breaking, far more than synthetics.
Do you deliver abroad?
Yes, Lanado delivers to Belgium, France, the Netherlands and Luxembourg.
